Artist Overview:
Orange County based Tattoo Artist, illustrator, and mother, Noemi Barajas, has been working in the art industry for over 16 years. As a former Disney artist, Noemi blended her skills as a painter and applied it to tattooing. Her passion is oil painting but is currently exploring digital media for illustrating children’s books. She has shown her art in various galleries around Orange and Los Angeles County. In 2018, she was titled Art Battle Champion and represented Los Angeles in a nationwide painting competition. She has also won other awards from galleries, art shows, the United States Senate, and Congress.
The design idea comes from a playful concept surrounding soccer and fiesta. The eternal love for soccer and a cartoony twist on traditional tattoo designs. The design started with a sketch and manipulated into different renditions to this final product. The design is meant to show the fierceness of a team but the cheerfulness of a party after a victory. This all-inclusive design is meant for all to enjoy and sport during any festivity or game.
